The HSIE faculty takes-on other responsibilities in Coffs Harbour High School, including the organisation and delivery of Anzac and Remembrance Day Ceremonies. HSIE regularly promotes competitions for students to demonstrate their abilities in this key learning area, such as the RSL Sub-branch essay writing competition.
Ms Bonney heads up our SHERC who participate in environmental activities including Clean Up Australia Day.
All students in Years 7 to 10 will study one semester of History and one semester of Geography for 2016. Students in Year 10 will learn both History and Geography all year. For further information regarding topics studied and assessment in Years 7-10, please utilise the tabs on the side of this page.
The LOTE department includes Confucius classroom teachers, Mr Dun and Ms Scriven supported by chinese teaching assistants from China, Emily and Silvia.
