Our school will be hosting an information session for parents and carers of Year 11 students on Tuesday 20th February. The session will be held from 5.00pm – 6.00pm in the lower library of the school. Please park in Edinburgh Street and use the main entrance.
The purpose of the session is to inform parents and students about the different support programs available at our school for Year 11 students. Additionally, we will be outlining the expectation of Year 11 students in terms of attendance and assessment tasks.
Topics include:
• Senior Mentoring Program
• Senior Homework Club
• Year 11 Assessment guidelines and schedules
• Misadventure procedures
• Attendance
• Signing in and out of school
• Courses delivered at schools other than Coffs Harbour High School (eg TAFE)
• Senior scholarships and
• Careers and Welfare support
We look forward to your attendance at the evening. Year 11 students also welcome to attend.
