The day is filled with colour, energy and friendly competition as students take part in track and field events, novelty relays and house-based challenges. Participation is encouraged across all year groups, with every student given the opportunity to be involved — whether competing, supporting their peers or cheering on their house. It is a vibrant and enjoyable day that brings together students, staff and families in celebration of effort, participation and community spirit.

Representative Sport
Representative sport at Coffs Harbour High School gives students the chance to extend their skills and compete at higher levels, including zone, regional and state competitions. Each year, many of our students achieve selection through dedication, perseverance and a genuine love of sport. Our staff and coaches work closely with these students to support training, performance preparation and the balance between school and sporting commitments. The program celebrates excellence and effort, recognising those who represent our school and region with integrity and enthusiasm while inspiring others to pursue their own sporting goals.
Weekly Sport
At Coffs Harbour High School, weekly sport is a valued and active part of student life. Year 7 participates on Tuesdays, Years 9 and 10 on Wednesdays, and Year 8 on Thursdays — all held in the morning to make the most of students’ energy and engagement. The program offers a broad range of activities, from competitive team sports to recreational and lifestyle options such as fitness, yoga, surfing and outdoor pursuits. Students are encouraged to try new experiences, develop teamwork skills and build confidence in a supportive environment.
